About the Role
We’re seeking a credentialed OSH professional with deep industry knowledge, strong technical expertise, and a proven ability to build and foster trusted client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident leading projects independently, applying your expertise to real-world challenges, and helping organizations navigate complex safety and health challenges while making a direct impact on workplace safety. This position will initially focus on performing Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) duties on short-term projects, limited to the local area and requiring minimal travel.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct workplace safety assessments, inspections, and site evaluations
- Identify hazards and develop practical corrective actions
- Support OSHA compliance and regulatory readiness efforts
- Deliver safety training for employees and leadership teams
- Investigate incidents and recommend preventative measures
- Build trusted relationships with clients as a safety advisor
- Manage projects independently across multiple client engagements
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of occupational safety, EHS, or related experience
- Current OSHA 500, CSP, GSP, CHST, STSC, or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated experience conducting site assessments, identifying risks, and providing practical safety solutions
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trusted guidance
- Self-motivated professional who can manage projects independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver high-quality results
