Circle Safety & Health Consultants offers our OSHA-recognized Workplace First Aid, CPR, & AED training courses using Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training materials.

In every workplace, OSHA recommends one or more employees receive adequate training and certification in first aid and CPR. In some industries, they also require further education, such as blood-borne pathogens.

We hold First Aid, CRP & AED classes in our training room every month. We can also customize courses for your specific industry or workplace needs and provide training in our location or yours.

Upon successful completion of our OSHA-recognized training, students will receive course completion cards that are good for two years. We also keep records of the training sessions and will send a notification when it is time to register for a renewal course.

Benefits of Workplace CPR, AED, and First Aid Training

Accidents often happen when we least expect them. If one of your workers were to have one, it could take first responders several minutes to reach them.

Employees who are properly trained in CPR, AED, or first aid will know precisely how to identify the emergency situation and render assistance until paramedics arrive. This can mean the difference between life and death.

These training courses and certifications can help your business remain in compliance with various local, state, and federal laws. Insurance companies may also require training or ongoing training courses to retain coverage.

Workplace First Aid Training Course

Our First Aid Training Course will teach participants skills that will allow them to render first aid. They will learn about illnesses, acute injuries, medical conditions, and how to appropriately respond in the event of an emergency.

The training session includes videos, slides, written materials, and hands-on experience. We cover a wide range of topics and encourage everyone to ask questions and participate in discussions.

Our comprehensive approach helps ensure that participants receive a thorough education on the various principles of emergency situations and first aid.

Workplace CPR Training Course

When someone goes into cardiac arrest, it suddenly becomes a race against the clock to save their life. In a medical situation where seconds count, paramedics or first responders can take several minutes to arrive.

When applied properly, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques can help keep the patient alive until first responders show up. Our CPR training course will teach participants the following techniques:

  1. Identifying a medical emergency situation where CPR is required.
  2. Establishing and maintaining an airway.
  3. Performing resuscitation.
  4. Performing choking assessments and how to intervene.

Workplace AED Training Course

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a medical device that’s used when someone has experienced cardiac arrest. This easy to use device will deliver an electrical shock that will allow the heart to re-establish a proper rhythm.

On average, it can take firemen or paramedics anywhere from eight to twelve minutes to arrive after being called. The chances of survival of a cardiac arrest patient are decreased by around 10% for each minute that defibrillation is delayed.
