Workplace CPR, First Aid, & AED Training

Circle Safety & Health Consultants offers Workplace First Aid, CPR, & AED training using American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training materials. This training is OSHA-recognized, and students receive completion cards good for two years.

First aid training gives you the confidence to act in a potentially life-threatening incident and provides you with the skills to be as comfortable as possible in high-stress situations. We design our ASHI courses for those who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers—but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care.

We also keep training records and will notify you when a refresher course is necessary so that you can always stay up-to-date and in compliance with the various occupational safety and health regulations.

First Aid Training

First Aid class training topics include:

Response preparation
Recognizing an emergency
Consent
Patient assessment
Bleeding control

Injuries, shock, and poisoning
Common first aid situations
Heat and cold emergencies
Bites and stings
Burns and more

Classes take anywhere from 4-5 hours, and the certification is good for up to two years. Circle Safety First Aid Training Classes are ideal for general industry and construction personnel.

CPR Training

Our CPR training includes proper form and technique. Students will practice on a CPR dummy. Classes take anywhere from 1-2 hours, and certifications are good for two years. These classes are ideal for construction and general industry personnel.

AED Training

Students will perform AED training along with CPR training. Certifications are good for up to two years; these classes are ideal for general industry and construction trades. For the initial training, instruction times for adults are 2 hours, adults and children are 3 hours, and infants are 3.5 hours. Renewal training time is less than the initial instruction time.

Julia Thompson received Workplace First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification from the American Safety & Health Institute seven years ago and serves as Circle Safety’s chief First Aid/CPR/AED instructor. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the training material.
