This course provides an excellent overview for supervisors with safety and health responsibilities and employees involved in safety teams, committees, and general work duties.
The course introduces Occupational Safety and Health Administration policies, procedures, standards, essential occupations, and safety and health principles. We place particular emphasis on the most hazardous areas covered by OSHA standards, such as fall protection and common safety hazards.
Upon successful course completion, participants will receive an OSHA General Industry or Construction Safety and Health 10-Hour card from the Department of Labor.
Who Should Attend?
This course provides a comprehensive safety training experience and an introduction to OSHA policies, procedures, standards, essential occupations, and safety and health principles. This course covers a wide range of workplace health hazards covered by OSHA standards.
Students will leave the course with an in-depth knowledge of workplace hazards on their job sites and the tools to prevent incidents. Upon completing the course, participants will receive an OSHA General Industry or Construction Safety and Health 30-Hour card from the US Department of Labor.
